Dechra has announced the U.S. launch of Domidine (detomidine hydrochloride), a generic version of detomidine indicated as a sedative and analgesic in horses to facilitate minor surgical and diagnostic procedures. According to Dechra, the product has been used internationally, including in Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico, for more than a decade, with the company reporting more than 7 million doses administered globally since 2016.
