The results from surveys of participants in a university-based stress prevention program that incorporates both interactions with animals and evidence-based stress prevention programming was reported was reported to be helpful in decreasing stress of students.
Participants reported some improvement in their management of stress as a result of participation
The program also noted an increase in motivation and goal setting plus improved quality of sleep, and a decrease in test anxiety.
