Surgeons Use Labial Graft to Repair Eyelid

A melanoma of the upper eyelid was resected in a gray warmblood gelding. A full functional eyelid was created by placing a labial mucocutaneous graft transplantation. Graft restored the mucocutaneous junction and to decreased the risk of postoperative trichiasis.
