Make Your Own Infused Vodka

Plain vodka can be turned into something very special with flavor infusions. Infused vodka can be used on its own or you can use them to create amazing cocktails. Use this recipe adapted from “Highballs High Heels” to make your own version.

  1. Add 1 liter of vodka to a large clean glass container that has an air tight lid.

  2. Add your choice of flavor infusion…choose a combination of fresh fruit, herbs, or spices.

  3. Close the lid tightly and swirl to combine the ingredients and store at room temperature. Strong flavors like lemon may only need a few days to infuse, however, berries may need 1-3 weeks to fully infuse. Strain before serving.

Flavor combinations we love:

Berry Delicious: add 3 cups of rinsed and chopped berries, pineapple, and mango.

Lemon Ginger-zing: add peel of a large lemon and a teaspoon of grated ginger.
