Bill would fund for South Dakota vet students

A bill being considered in South Dakota is proposing to use taxes sourced from pesticide manufacturers to fund a rural veterinary college that would be located in South Dakota.  The plan proposes that students would attend college in the South Dakota State program for the first two years of veterinary school, and then attend the University of Minnesota’s veterinary program for the final two years.  The graduates would receive free tuition in exchange for working in South Dakota for at least two years. Would you trade your student loans for polar fleece and parkas? We would!!
