New study demonstrates survival times for dogs with squamous cell carcinoma

 

A retrospective study of 193 dogs with dermal squamous cell carcinoma showed that thirty-eight percent of all dogs had histopathological actinic change with an overall median survival time of 1004 days. The population with actinic change had significantly longer survival time (median 1359 days) compared to those without (median 680 days.)
