Study identifies key traits of swine veterinarians

Swine vets are critical to the food industry.  A recent study by CF Grass Consulting was recently released at the American Association of Swine Veterinarians meeting.  The study examined the attitudes and opinions of U.S. swine producers.

The results showed that more than 85% of swine producers rated the overall value provided by their veterinarian as “good” or “excellent.” The most important characteristics of veterinarians by the producers were honesty, accurately diagnosing problems, and being trustworthy. 70% of swine producers found those characteristics “extremely important.”  In addition, more than 65% of swine producers rated their veterinarian as “excellent.” Congratulations, swine veterinarians of the U.S.
