Zoetis Partners with Scout Clean Energy to Boost Renewable Energy Efforts

Zoetis Inc., a leading US veterinary medicine producer, has taken a significant step towards sustainable energy by signing a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Scout Clean Energy. This agreement will see Zoetis credited with 50 MW of renewable energy certificates (RECs) generated by the Heart of Texas wind farm.

FDA Approves ProHeart 12 (moxidectin)

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine announced today the approval of ProHeart 12 (moxidectin) extended-release injectable suspension for dogs 12 months of age and older for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis for 12 months.
