UW School of Veterinary Medicine launches revised curriculum

The University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine has launched a new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine curriculum, “OnWard,” designed to create practice-ready veterinarians through clinically focused, student-centered, and skills-based education. The phased program integrates basic science with clinical learning, emphasizes professional skill development, and leverages flipped classroom strategies, preparing graduates to excel from day one.
