Royal Canin Reports 27.7 Million Meals Donated Across North America in 2025
In recognition of National Love Your Pet Day, Royal Canin announced its 2025 charitable giving totals, reporting that it donated more than 27.7 million meals to pets in need across North America. According to the company, those donations supported more than 1.2 million cats and dogs during the year.
The donations totaled more than 3.9 million pounds of pet food product and were distributed to 23 direct partner organizations across the United States and Canada. The company also reported providing support during five natural disasters in 2025, including flooding in Texas and wildfires in Los Angeles and Manitoba.
Daryn Brown, Regional President of Royal Canin North America, said the efforts align with the company’s global purpose statement focused on improving the lives of pets. He noted that the 2025 totals were made possible through partnerships with regional organizations.
Partner Organizations
Among the charitable partners cited by Royal Canin were:
Greater Good Charities, a nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian and animal welfare support globally. The organization reports having invested more than $1 billion in impact initiatives since 2006, including the distribution of pet meals across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe.
VCA Charities, which marked its fifth anniversary in 2025. The organization funds veterinary care, adoption readiness programs, surrender prevention efforts, and crisis response initiatives to help pets remain in or find homes.
L.A. County Fire Search Dogs Inc., which supports the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s canine search and rescue unit. The team deploys domestically and internationally to assist in disaster response operations.
