Meet Your Vet Candy Dream Team: Four Ambassadors, One Epic Conference, Unlimited Access

WVC Vegas 2026 Coverage Starts This Weekend, And We're Not Sending Just Anyone

When you're covering what veterinarians consistently call the best conference on the planet, you don't just send one person with a camera phone and good intentions. You send an entire squad of uniquely qualified, wildly talented, strategically chosen ambassadors who can capture every angle of the chaos, the breakthroughs, and the career-changing moments happening across the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Welcome to Vet Candy's WVC Vegas 2026 ambassador team.

The Squad

We've assembled what might be the most diverse, talented, and entertaining group of veterinary professionals ever deployed to a single conference. Here's who's bringing you live coverage starting this weekend:

Jeremiah Pouncy – The Visionary Entrepreneur This Cornell vet student has worked with SeaWorld San Diego and the NFL, launched multiple businesses, and dreams of creating an international veterinary practice that integrates mental health programs and revolutionary research. His mentor's advice? "Date the dream, marry the process." He's not just documenting lectures—he's capturing the future of veterinary medicine as it unfolds.

Caitlin Palmer – The Comedy Queen A theater major turned Certified Veterinary Receptionist turned TikTok star, Caitlin is known for her alter ego "The Desk Wench" and her ability to make education hilarious. She co-hosts Brain Smarts and The Cat Café, stars in Vet Candy's scripted comedy podcast All Creatures, and is literally illustrating the series with her own art. If anyone can make conference coverage actually entertaining, it's her.

Dr. Ashley Hopkins – The Career Coach A Tuskegee grad who experienced burnout, found peace in relief work, and founded Hopper Vets to help other veterinarians reclaim their joy. As a young Black woman in a field where only 1.7% of veterinarians share her identity, she's navigated challenges most of us can't imagine. She's not just covering lectures—she's asking the hard questions about sustainability, balance, and what success really means.

Dr. Jessica Trice – The Integrator Vet boss, toddler mom, co-founder of Vetique Chicago (a luxury veterinary hospital redefining the customer experience), and the ambassador who refuses to choose between clinical excellence and entrepreneurial ambition. Operating out of Chicago with that Midwest grit, Dr. Trice doesn't "balance" her career and motherhood—she integrates them with ruthless prioritization and unapologetic boundaries. She's done trying to be perfect at everything, and she's bringing that real talk to Vegas. Her message? Stop trying to do it all. Be strategic. Be intentional. Build the career you actually want, not the one everyone expects you to have.

Why Four Ambassadors?

Because WVC Vegas is massive. We're talking 700+ hours of continuing education, an exhibit hall the size of several football fields, 15,000+ veterinary professionals, and countless networking events, parties, and hallway conversations that could change your career. One person can't capture all of that. Four people with completely different backgrounds, specialties, and perspectives? Now we're talking.

What to Expect

Starting this weekend, our ambassadors will be everywhere—recording live from lectures, interviewing speakers, capturing exhibit hall chaos, documenting behind-the-scenes moments, and giving you the insider access Vet Candy is known for. You'll get:

  • The science – cutting-edge research and clinical breakthroughs

  • The business – career advice, practice management, and entrepreneurial insights

  • The real talk – conversations about burnout, diversity, sustainability, and what's actually working (or not) in veterinary medicine

  • The fun – because it's Vegas, and if you can't find the humor and energy at WVC, you're doing it wrong

Whether you're there or experiencing serious FOMO at home, we've got you covered.

Our ambassadors bring entrepreneurial vision, comedic genius, career coaching wisdom, and comprehensive coverage that goes way beyond "here's what I learned in a lecture." They're capturing the energy, the community, and the moments that make WVC Vegas the conference everyone's talking about all year.

The coverage starts this weekend. Four ambassadors. One legendary conference. Zero boring content.

Let's go.

Follow Vet Candy's WVC Vegas 2026 coverage as our ambassador team brings you live from the show floor. Because if you're not there, you should at least feel like you are.
