Who Let the Dogs Out? Join Us at Vetmedin's Paw-some Pursuit at WVC Vegas

98 hand-blown glass dachshunds are hiding at WVC Vegas — and the hunt is on.

Forget your typical conference swag. This year at WVC Vegas, attendees have the chance to walk away with something truly special: a one-of-a-kind, hand-blown glass dachshund created by renowned Nevada artist Greg LeFrancis.

And no, you can't just pick one up at a booth. You'll have to hunt for it.

The Chase Begins

Jeremiah Pouncy, Vet Candy's WVC Vegas Ambassador, gives you the tea on Vetmedin's Paw-some Pursuit in partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim, a conference-wide scavenger hunt that turns WVC into an art-filled adventure.

To celebrate the 98th WVC Annual Conference, LeFrancis crafted exactly 98 collectible glass dachshunds. Each comes with a commemorative box and certificate of authenticity, making them legitimate limited-edition keepsakes. Once they're gone, they're gone.

The premise? These glass pups have "escaped the clinic" and are hidden throughout Boehringer Ingelheim–hosted locations across the conference. Your mission: find one and take it home.

How It Works

The hunt officially kicks off Sunday, February 15, giving early arrivals a serious advantage. All you need is your WVC badge, a little curiosity, and a competitive spirit.

Check Boehringer Ingelheim–hosted events, booths, and activations throughout the week. Keep your eyes sharp. And maybe bring backup — this is the kind of challenge that's more fun (and more strategic) with friends.

Why It Matters

Vetmedin's Paw-some Pursuit isn't just about the collectibles. It's about community, creativity, and making WVC Vegas more than just another conference.

Sponsored by Vetmedin® and Boehringer Ingelheim, the scavenger hunt blends art, strategy, and a little friendly competition — all while celebrating nearly a century of WVC's impact on the veterinary profession.

Ready to Hunt?

The glass dachshunds are out there. The question is: will you find one?

Grab your badge. Rally your crew. And this time, let's all let the dogs out. 🐾
