FitPaws Launches FitKinect, a Versatile System for Canine Fitness, Recovery, and Performance
FitPaws, a company specializing in canine fitness equipment, has announced the launch of FitKinect, a new modular training system designed to improve strength, coordination, and body awareness in dogs.
The patent-pending system is presented as a versatile tool intended to support dogs at various activity levels, from post-injury rehabilitation to advanced performance training. According to the company's announcement, the system aims to address a need for structured movement beyond simple walks to enhance canine muscle, flexibility, and proprioception.
Modular Design for Adaptable Training
A key feature of the FitKinect system is its modular design, which allows the equipment to be reconfigured and adapt to a dog's evolving fitness level. The company states the system is built for long-term use, growing with the dog's abilities.
The equipment is reportedly colored in blue and yellow, shades thought to be more visible to dogs, to improve engagement. Textured surfaces are incorporated to stimulate learning, and the build is described as non-slip, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Background on the Company's Mission
FitPaws, the company behind the new product, is known for creating fitness and rehabilitation tools specifically engineered for canine biomechanics, rather than repurposing human equipment . The company has previously been recognized for its innovations, winning a "Hands-Free Leash of the Year" award in 2025 .
FitPaws also founded National Canine Fitness Month, observed every April, to raise awareness about canine obesity and the importance of regular physical activity for dogs .
