The National Association for Black Veterinarians (NABV) hosted its Fifth Annual Conference and Scholarship Gala from June 5 to June 7, 2025, at the JW Marriott in New Orleans. Drawing from his award-winning research and widely recognized article, “How to Promote Racial Equity in the Workplace,” Dr. Livingston delivered a thought-provoking talk on systemic challenges and practical pathways to create truly inclusive professional environments. His message resonated deeply, offering both inspiration and actionable strategies for veterinary leaders.
