Pet Honesty Forms Science and Health Advisory Council to Guide Evidence-Based Product Innovation

Pet Honesty® has established a Science and Health Advisory Council aimed at strengthening its commitment to science-based product development and research.

The Council includes a combination of external veterinary and scientific experts, alongside internal leaders, to provide guidance on clinical research, product formulation, and innovation strategies. According to the company, the goal is to ensure its supplements continue to meet quality and safety standards while supporting pet wellness and longevity.

“At Pet Honesty, we believe true innovation begins with science,” said Rich Greenberg, CEO of Pet Honesty. “This Council will help us deliver on our promise to create products rooted in research, designed to meet the evolving needs of pets, and trusted by pet parents and veterinary professionals.”

Council Members Include:

  • Dr. Vickie Carmella, DVM – Veterinary practitioner with expertise in veterinary business and marketing

  • Dr. Kevin Ragland, PhD – Academic with a focus on companion animal science

  • Dr. Geri Katz, VMD – Feline internal medicine and behavior specialist

  • Dr. Don Ingram, PhD – Researcher in canine longevity and healthspan

  • Dr. Adam Rudinsky, DVM, MS, DACVIM – University associate professor and board-certified internist

The members are expected to provide strategic input in areas such as clinical research design, scientific substantiation, and the evaluation of emerging trends in pet health and nutrition.

Pet Honesty reports that its supplements are formulated with natural ingredients and include a proprietary “Pure Vitality Blend” aimed at supporting digestion and immune health. The products are made in a U.S.-based, FDA-registered facility and are certified by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).
